Kailey Tucker is a 22 year old author and aspiring PR professional from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She published her first collection of poems, Excerpts from 18, in 2020. Originally intended to be for a school project, writing poems grew into something much bigger. Kailey has poems published in print and on the web by literary journals such as Outrageous Fortune, The Metaworker, Grand Little Things, and Appelley Publishing’s Rising Stars Collection. You can find her currently hosting open mics around St. Augustine, Florida.

Kailey likes to explore topics such as love, loss, mental health and the experience of growing up and moving away. She feels the most at home when she is storytelling, performing, and writing.
